The Super Music Friends Show is a segment on Yo Gabba Gabba! where performers and bands (in the flesh) perform songs for the characters, usually based on the episode's topic. It is featured in roughly half of the Season 1 episodes and all of the episodes in seasons 2, 3, and 4.

Trivia[]
- In Season 1, the SMFS turns on with spiked, lightning-shaped, white lines going up with an electrical sounds. At the end, it turns off with the same white lines going down. In Season 2 onwards, it turns on with rainbow circles coming out with a deeper sound. At the end, it turns off with the rainbow circles going in.
- Season 1 is the only season where not every episode features the SMFS, sometimes a Dancey Dance is featured instead. However, in Season 2 onwards, every episode features the SMFS, and sometimes a Dancey Dance is featured in addition to the SMFS.
- Season 1 did not have the announcer be seen, but in Season 2 onwards, he was seen.
- Big is the only episode in which someone other than DJ Lance doesn't introduces and ends the SMFS.
- The songs in Season 1 (except I'm So Happy and Try Again) featured the kids in their backgrounds (except Pajama Party Time which featured them jumping on the bed in their PJ's like monkeys), but Season 2 onwards did not feature that.
- In Nature, it was bedtime at the end of the SMFS, so DJ Lance said, "Listening and dancing to music is, awesome!" quietly.
- In Weather, DJ Lance said, "The Super Music Friends Show is, AWESOME!" instead of the usual phrase.
- In Band, the Yo Gabba Gabba! cast played their instruments with Lady Tigra.
- In Big, DJ Lance doesn't say "Listening and dancing to music is awesome!".
- In Dinosaur, a brown boulder appears at the beginning and end, instead of purple curtains.
- In Day Camp, the Yo Gabba Gabba! cast arrived in Toodee Land to join The Roots.
- I'm So Happy, Halloween At The House Of Spooks, Rainbow Connection, Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast and Spaceship Adventure are the only songs that never zoomed out during the song to show the characters dancing.
- Usually the SMFS is played in one of the lands, but there are a few occasions where it is played somewhere else.
- In Boat, it is played on a floatie close to where the boat is.
- In Space, it floats while being played in the rocket ship (also, it does not get big).
- In Gooble, it was hosted from Gooble's mansion.
- In Restaurant, it is played in the restaurant on a jukebox screen.
- In Shopping, it is played in the store.
- In Quest, it is played on a miniature stage between two guards.
- The episodes that the Roots perform were Family, Show, and Day Camp.
- In Restaurant, the Swami asks, "Hungry?" in the introduction, and Biz's Beat of the Day, Mark's Magic Pictures & Knock Knock Joke Segments has been replaced.
- In Mermaids, it is played on a shell-shaped TV and Muno, Brobee, and Plex were absent from the Super Music Friends Show.
- In Day Camp, everyone came to Toodee Land from Foofa Land during it.
- In Band, The Gabba Gang played inside it.
- In Show, The Gabba Gang took a trip to the Super Music Friends Show in which the songs occurred.
- The Roots performed twice in Family and Day Camp.
- In Greetings, DJ Lance didn't say "AWESOME!" in big caps, while DJ Lance holds the Super Music Friends Show TV and the camera zooms in.
- In Love, the curtains don't close. However, the curtains are closed and DJ Lance grabs the Super Music Friends Show television and says "Awesome!".
- In DJ Lance's Super Music & Toy Room, it is played on a stomach wall behind the drum set, belonging to Questlove, who didn't arrive yet.
- The SMFS TV appears on all of the title cards of the show displaying the name of the episode except for Imagine and DJ Lance's Super Music & Toy Room.
- In Space, DJ Lance uses his Season 1 audio at the beginning and end of the SMFS segment & but the Red Portable Television is not big.
